Full-Time Night/Weekend Shift Leader
Job Description
The Full-Time Night/Weekend Shift Leader plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe and healing environment for residents at our safe house. Responsibilities include:
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a Safe Environment: Work during assigned shifts to ensure the safety and security of residents.
- Consistent Operations: Uphold the program model and resident guidelines to ensure consistent operations.
- Leadership and Conflict Resolution: Provide strong leadership, including resolving conflicts, responding to crises, and handling difficult relational dynamics.
- Effective Communication: Communicate effectively with residents, providing guidance and holding them accountable as they progress through the program.
- Life Skills Development: Assist residents in learning successful life skills and progressing toward healing and recovery.
Qualifications:
- Strong Leadership Skills: Ability to demonstrate leadership in various situations.
- Conflict Resolution Abilities: Proficiency in resolving conflicts and responding to crises effectively.
- Understanding of Addict Behaviors and Trauma: Knowledge of addict behaviors and trauma is helpful in this role.
- Familiarity with Healing and Recovery Programs: Experience with 12-step or similar healing and recovery programs (e.g., Celebrate Recovery) is desired.
